You can't beat a Carlos O'Brien's machaca beef burro! I miss the 12th St. location, but the Happy Valley Road's ambiance is growing on me. Our server today was pretty new, and she was just lovely.

After being apprehensive about the name (Mexican Irish food?!?!) we settled on Carlos O'Brien's for lunch. The staff was amazing, friendly, and attentive. Being our first time in we asked what we should get. I was directed to the Pollo Fundido. My fiancee got the Papa Fajita. We were both very happy with how the food came out. We will be making this another stop we make at Happy Valley!

Very delicious! Clean super friendly staff. Generous portions! Fresh prepared food. I’m picky about my rice and beans. These were flavorful! Definitely coming back. They were kind to my grandson. Rachael our waitress was super fast and the best! Bus boy was great too.

Food here is always great. This is my mom's favorite spot for us to meet. Their happy hour is great for some food snacks. The queso is great. The fundido and quesadilla on happy hour are go toos. The atmosphere is nothing special, but its not dirty. Staff service is usually solid, the waiters are good. Usually it's one of two guys who serve us and both are great, the food from the kitchen isn't always the fastest but the waiters are solid.

My wife and I stopped in for lunch for the first time at this restaurant. Chips with salsa and a hot sauce was good and a perfect crunch and spice level. The grande burrito and chimichanga were great. The lunch menu size is still huge, so expect to take half home for dinner or a meal the next day. House margaritas were blended and salted to perfection.
